Marketers wake up! Time to get those mobile phone numbers. There are lots of good applications for using SMS text. Off the top of my head, I can think of one immediately. Every restaurant chain should get every customer's mobile phone number. What an opportunity to hit those customers with time sensitive offers, right before it's time to go to lunch or on their way home to dinner. But, that is just one industry and I can think of lots of others (especially retail) that can benefit if you can develop the right offers to drive response.
