Sales Funnel Visualization Tool
The “Sales Funnel Visualization Tool” will give you a visual representation of the leads that enter your sales pipeline and their conversion into actual sales, based on the conversion variables that you enter for each stage the lead goes through in the conversion process while in the pipeline. Once you have entered the three static factors for average revenue per sale, average gross margin percent for that sale and the number of inquires that enter the pipeline, you can adjust the conversion variable for each step in the conversion process to see how it will impact lead flow and eventually the number of transactions and the revenues and profits that come out of the funnel.
To enter the variables below, double click in each of the open boxes to enter the number, or drag the up/down arrow that appears over the box to enter the number, up or down. Once you have entered the number, you may also adjust it dragging the up/down arrow, up or down. To enter the conversion variables, use the spinner to the right to adjust the percentages or double click in the cell and type in your number. Once you’ve entered your initial conversion variables, use the spinners to adjust the percentages up or down for different scenarios. Enter all percentages as decimals (i.e., enter 50% as .55 or 1% as .01).
To save your analysis, click on the "Scenario" key at the bottom of the screen. In the box that appears, enter a name for the scenario to save it. You can save multiple scenarios to your computer, but they cannot be transferred to another computer and read with this tool. Use the "Reset" key to reset all variables back to their initial state. You may also print a hard copy of your analysis by clicking on the "Print" key.
